The sound of running water is very soothing unless it is coming from your ceiling. Turning off the air conditioner during the biggest heat wave of the year seems to stop the tide.

If we didn't live all the way out in Maryland, I would totally offer AC refuge. :(
Thanks Liz but I don't think Chachi and Horatio would appreciate me showing up with Lucy, Lizzie and Possum for a few days. I installed a window unit ac and we are all roughing it in a couple of rooms on the 2nd floor until my ac appt on Thursday.
It's sort of like going away to church camp except with booze and access to porn. Or should I say better booze and porn.
